How PTE X-Ray Finds Your Weak Areas

A look inside PTE Junction’s diagnosis method: from your scores to a prioritised, personal study plan.

Most PTE preparation starts with a syllabus. PTE X-Ray starts with you. Here’s what happens when you request a free X-Ray.

1. Target and context

We record what you need and why: a university offer, a professional registration, or a Home Affairs English level like Proficient or Superior. That target may be one overall number or four skill-specific numbers.

2. Score mapping

We compare your skill scores to your target and look at the question types that feed each skill — especially integrated tasks, where one weakness affects two skills.

3. Habit analysis

On the diagnosis call we look at how you respond: pauses and restarts, template use, grammar patterns, spelling, timing decisions and negative-marking risk.

4. Your plan

You get a priority level, a realistic timeline and a short list of what to practise — and what to stop doing.

The X-Ray is a coaching diagnosis, not an official Pearson score. Its value is in telling you where to spend your next hour.
Your PTE score tells you the result. PTE X-Ray finds the reason.
