How to shadow well
- Start at 0.8–0.9× with the text visible. Copy the rhythm, not just the words.
- Speak a fraction of a second behind the voice — don’t wait for the sentence to finish.
- Keep going when you stumble. Fluency means never stopping to fix a word.
- When it feels easy, hide the text and move to 1×. Then try exam-style Repeat Sentence.
